• Methods of Condenser Tube Cleaning:

Chemical Cleaning:

Acid Cleaning: Typically used to dissolve scale and mineral deposits. Mild acids like hydrochloric or sulfuric acid are used to remove hard scale buildup without damaging the tubes. Alkaline Cleaning i.e. Caustic solutions are used to remove organic fouling, such as oils, grease, and biological buildup.

Mechanical Cleaning:

Water Jet Cleaning: High pressure water jet machine with special nozzle is used to clean tube inner surface. Its usually used more thicker thickness of tubes.

Rotary or Spiral Tools: These tools can be inserted into the tubes and spun to scrape off buildup. They are effective at removing both soft and hard deposits.

Bullet Cleaning: Bullet cleaning is performed in offline condition with Teflon or plastic bullet powered with water and air pressure. It flush out debris and fouling and removes soft scale and foreign particle from tube inner body. This method is effective and fast for cleaning without chemicals and can be used for a more thorough cleaning.
